first time ever lifting against bands, and it was a disaster at the start. i deleted the video of me warming up and trying it because it was fucking embarrassing! i pressed the bar up in some weird, controlled wave motion. once i "got it", i actually liked it. will wait to hear from coach how it looks. my back felt a lot more taxed at the end of these than it usually does after bench...???? maybe not taxed, i definitely felt something, though.
during deadlift, my camera battery was dying, so i wasn't able to watch the videos between lifts. if i had watched the 265#, don't know if i would've gone for the 270#
max reps at 200# went well, think form was questionable by rep 8, but by that point, it was 10 or bust! camera must've died before catching any of it it, wasn't on there when i got home.
busted out the shit iphone to get the sandbag carry on video. how is it that an 80# sandbag could feel like a 200# person sitting on my chest?! not sure how i should've lifted the bag.
i woke up and laid by the pool for a couple hours, weighed 113#, and then hit a deadlift p.r.... happy saturday, y'all!
