week 16 cardio and day 2

Friday

4x500m row

i didn't keep time on these.  i rowed all-out for 500m, and then easy 500m.

6x50m swims: freestyle

like last week, i swam every 1:30 on the clock.  i had the lane to myself, so i did five minutes of backstroke to warmup, hard 25m free, easy 25m free, and then started.  cooled down with 10 minutes easy swim, mixed stroke.

this day went great!  we were traveling, so it was nice to have a short session and not feel stressed on getting it in.  unfortunately, i wasn't able to get it on video.  i weighed myself on one of those old timey balancing scales at the gym, it had me in the 108#.

i switched up my grip most sets, but at the end, i stuck with my strongest, left-hand out.

post-workout, i took full advantage of the hotel continental breakfast for my carbs, and grabbed a bowl of 'froot loops'.  i barely had about a serving, but why did it give me the craziest, worst gas of all time!  first gluten i've had in i don't even know how long, and it went south... for sure.
